Gurteen's take on business objectives

The above link is to an article written by David Gurteen in response to an article written by Michael Schrage. The Schrage article states how Knowledge Management is a "BS" issue. The article outlines how KM cannot be used as a primary business objective and lists everything else that should be.

Gurteen's response backs up the allegations of KM being "BS" in terms of business objectives and iterates that it was never designed to be. Managers are always looking for that silver bullet that will resolve all business issues. KM cannot be seen as this silver bullet and Gurteen iterates that and expands upon what he feels the primary business objectives are.
